BUCK2NINETY LLC, doing business as Novak Geospatial Solutions (“Novak GS,” “we,” “us”), is a drone mapping and geospatial data business based in Cross Plains, Wisconsin. This policy explains what information we collect through novakgs.com and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect what we need to quote and do the work, and we never sell it.
Information you give us
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect what you choose to share, which may include:
- Contact details: your name, company, email address, phone number, and how you prefer to be contacted.
- Project details: the site address, county, approximate size, a map pin you place, the services and file formats you're interested in, timing, and any notes.
- Files: site plans, parcel maps, photos, or other documents you attach.
- Referral source: how you heard about us, including whether you arrived from the QR code on our business card.
If you call, text, email, or message us on WhatsApp, we keep that conversation as part of your request or project record.
Information collected automatically
We don't use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels on novakgs.com. Like any website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, and uses it to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our quote form may use a spam-protection check that looks at similar technical signals.
How we use your information
- To review your request, prepare a quote, and follow up with you.
- To plan, carry out, and deliver the work you hire us for, including flight planning and data processing.
- To send you confirmations, deliverables, invoices, and other project communications.
- To keep business, tax, insurance, and FAA records we're required or advised to keep.
- To protect our website and business against spam, fraud, and misuse.
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps us run things
We rely on a small number of service providers, who handle information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments:
- Microsoft 365 stores quote requests, attachments, project files, and email.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- OpenStreetMap provides the map and address search on our quote form. When you use the map or search an address, your browser contacts OpenStreetMap's servers directly, and they receive your IP address and the address you searched.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or with a successor if the business is ever sold or reorganized.
Aerial imagery and the people in it
Our flights are for mapping sites, not for watching people. We plan flights under FAA Part 107 to avoid flying over people, and we don't intentionally photograph people or neighboring private property. Mapping can still capture people, vehicles, or nearby properties incidentally. When we show imagery publicly, such as in our portfolio, we blur or remove identifiable people, license plates, and neighboring residences, and we don't publish a client's business name or address without permission. Project imagery belongs to the project; we handle its ownership and use under each client's services agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests that don't become projects for about two years so we can follow up and refer back to them. We keep project records and data for as long as needed to support the client and meet business, tax, and insurance recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
How we protect it
Your information lives in business-grade systems protected by multi-factor sign-in, encrypted connections, and access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us passwords, account numbers, or other sensitive data through the quote form.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Reach us using the contact details below. We may need to keep certain records when the law requires it, and we'll tell you if that applies.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business and website grow. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date above, and for significant changes we'll make a reasonable effort to let active clients know.
